Is the gold real?Yes, this is real gold, as found in the ground in actual gold mines. Most of the gold I purchase is Placer Gold. Meaning it is found in sand and gravel deposits along the paths of creeks and rivers. I do buy from some hard rock mines though, meaning the mines are typically dug into the side of a mountain and a paystreak is followed extracting the ore which is then crushed to get the gold flake out of the rock

What is the gold worth?Typically, gold flake will run between 19 and 22 Karat. Meaning it isn't pure gold, as most things are not pure when found in nature. But it is still gold and has value as such. That being said, this is not something you will get rich doing. It is an entertainment product, and you typically will not get out the full value of what you put in. The gold flake can be sold back to myself if you ever decided to sell it. I will typically buy back at 85% of the spot price of 24K gold the day an agreement is reached, or that I take possession of the gold. (If spot price on that day is $65.00/gram and you send me two grams $65 x 2=$130.00 x 85% (.85) =$110.50) I open, clean, and weigh the gold all on video to ensure there is no question as to the weight of the gold sent and received and if we come to an agreement, a check will be sent to you, or Venmo transaction will be initiated right then and there.

Is this Legal in New York? While New York does have the Kings Rule in effect for anything native to the land, buying gold paydirt is no different than going and buying a gold ring at a store. This is real gold flake, as found in nature, and just like what we see being mined on the popular show Gold Rush on the Discovery Channel
